The customer can log in to their account and pause their subscription instead of cancelling and start it up again.
NOTE: this is already achievable. Indefinite pausing makes no sense really, it's the same as cancelling and re-subscribing.
Marking this complete as it's already possible on Subbly for your customers to skip up to 2 payments in a row and to ultimately ''pause'' their subscription.
If you don't want this enabled for your customers or you want to set number of payment periods they'll need to be through before they become eligible to skip a payment, you can manage that from within your Subbly admin here: https://www.subbly.co/admin/shop/advanced_settings
Going forward, don't forget that you can manually change upcoming renewal date for any customer like this: https://help.subbly.co/en/articles/90359
See here how your customers can skip a payment and pause a subscription on their respective customer portals: https://help.subbly.co/en/articles/90306
Hey @Natalie Seaton, we already give customers a possibility to skip up to 2 payments in a row from within their customer login area. No use in letting them pause indefinitely their subscription, it'd be just like cancelling imho.
Therefore, I do believe that we already have this functionality. Feel free to contact me for more details on this if you need further clarification.
@Andrija Krstic: I do concur with this, I think we could change the terminology from "skip" to "pause"... not sure. Open for discussion. I think a pause feature would only work if the customer is giving a "maximum" amount of time they can pause and they get reminder emails until they officially cancel.
